Elite Martial Arts Karate Dojo
The Elite Martial Arts Karate Dojo was founded by Sensei Ventsislav Sholin, a former Balkan and Bulgarian National Champion. Having spent over 25 years practicing karate and having reached the rank of 3rd Dan Black Belt, he had the desire to pass his knowledge on to others in his community. Sensei Sholin firmly believes that an essential part to mastering an art and way of life like karate is to give it away. By operating a karate dojo in Woodland Hills, Sensei Sholin is hoping to continue the legacy of Sosai Masutatsu Oyama, the founder of Kyokushin karate.

Kokoro – Shinkyokushin Karate
The symbol of WKO, the Kokoro, or “heart” signifies the unity of mind, skills and physical strength. Shinkyokushin karate’s main goal remains the education of young people through hard work, dedication and respect.
